Welcome to the Wild World of Buck Bray Scrapbook!

When I was in Denali National Park in Alaska shooting the first episode of my TV show, I kept a scrapbook. Check it out – I saw some awesome stuff!
And make sure you read my book, too! You won’t believe what happened to me!
– Buck Bray

We filmed The Missing Grizzly Cubs in Denali National Park in Alaska!

This is the official Buck Bray Traveling Studio but I call our camper
THE GREEN BEAST!

And now I have some beastly souvenirs in the Green Beast! Like this bear claw!

And this sign!
(Don’t worry—I didn’t illegally take it! You can read how I got it in The Missing Grizzly Cubs.)

I SAW TONS OF WILDLIFE IN ALASKA!

This moose almost killed me!

Caribou are so majestic!

Arctic Ground Squirrels are noisy little fellas!

The willow ptarmigan is Alaska’s State Bird.

My friend, Toni, likes to draw. She drew this ptarmigan!

Can you spot two Dall Sheep?

But what EVERYONE wants to see are GRIZZLY BEARS!!! And we saw a bunch!

See how easily a big bear can hide behind a small willow tree!

So, when you’re in bear country, somebody better have some bear spray!

I hiked out on the Teklanika riverbed, and look what I saw!

A grizzly print next to a caribou print!

I saw something else out on the riverbed, too–
The MOST SPECTACULAR
and
SCARIEST THING
I’VE EVER SEEN
in my
ENTIRE LIFE!!!!

You’ll have to read
THE MISSING GRIZZLY CUBS
to find out what it was!

But guess what? I’m in another book, too!
Danger at the Dinosaur Stomping Grounds
set in Canyonlands National Park

Aren’t these cool?
Ancient pictographs and petroglyphs that were carved and painted on canyon walls thousands of years ago!

And what was really awesome was walking among thousands of dinosaur tracks that are 160 million years old!

And, this is my third book,
The Wolves of Slough Creek
set in Yellowstone National Park

These huge bison look tame, but they’re not.
They charged at me across the parking lot!

Using spotting scopes,
I saw 4 wolves and 3 wolf pups!

Here she’s hiking in Denali.

Did you notice Judy has bear spray on her belt?

This is Judy Young,
the author who invented me and made up my story!

Judy went to Alaska on a four-month long research trip to write
The Missing Grizzly Cubs!

Judy did some rock scrambling while researching in Canyonlands and I found out rock scrambling can be really SCARY!!!

Judy loves the colors of the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring in Yellowstone! The water is steamy HOT!!! And some hot springs are deadly acidic!

Judy has FUN researching for her books, but also works on writing them in lots of places, like here, while camping in Alaska!

And here it is – the result of Judy’s hard work!
The Wild World of Buck Bray series!
Three books all about me!

Have fun reading about my wild adventures and how I solved some mysteries, too!
(If you read a book about me, click on Contact Judy and tell her!)

And if you liked looking through my scrapbook, tell Judy that, too!

Your friend,
Buck Bray
